The son of a general contractor, Cam "officially" began his career in construction at the age of 10 as a general laborer on his father's construction sites. When Cam reached 15 years of age, he was on job sites full time when not in school. After Graduating from East Mecklenburg High School, Cam attended Appalachian State. After graduating with a degree in Construction Management, Cam began his career in building. Through the years, he has overseen a plethora of residential, commercial, and multi-family projects. In 2014, Cam founded LACE Construction and has been building custom homes since.

Nick's career in construction began after he graduated from Providence High School, spending the summer painting homes with a local contractor. Nick would spend the next 6 years splitting time between classes at UNCC and a variety of trades. After leaving UNCC, Nick pursued his passion for entrepreneurship, moving to Arizona to open a direct-marketing firm working with non-profit organizations. After the COVID pandemic, Nick found his way into the roofing industry. Before moving back to the Charlotte area, Nick spent several years in Florida doing hurricane restoration. Nick became the superintendent of a roofing company during the aftermath of Hurricane Ian and oversaw the restoration of over 300 projects in the months following.
